When it comes to varials you will need to have your kickflips down pretty good and pop-shove-its. pop like you were going to 180 but don't turn your body. right when you pop kick your front foot out. another thing is the jump, don't jump like your going fly just jump not so high and not so far. after you have kicked your front foot out and jumped you should be over your board in air. when you land it bend your knees. this means to land the trick with knees bent to absorb the shock. this is a awesome trick so practice it. if you dont land it the first couple of tries dont give up keep practicing.
