Hey. I'm really new at skating. I mean, not REALLY new, but I started a month or so ago. -pathetic- I've got great balance, really, but I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to tricks. I think I may almost have a 50/50 down, you know, when you're rolling then you tap the board from one side to another. Uhm. I think that's a 50/50. Anyways, working on an ollie and manual. I seem to, when trying to manual, always fall backwards. I always end up just tapping the board to the ground or holding the tail down and braking, then falling off. Oooh, long post. Any tips, guys? Please? -begs-

a 50/50 is when you go up to a rail or ledge and ollie and land both your trucks on the ledge or rail and slide across.

First thats not a 50/50 a 50/50 is a grind where you get youre trucks onto what ever you are trying to grind and slide To help with your manuals lean your body forward and press your back foot down that helps me hold a manual

you have to drag your front foot up harder and higher on the board to get higher ollies. smack the hell out of the tail so it hits the ground and rocks the board back, then drag your front foot up toward the nose (this is what lifts the board up).
