Im a street skater...also a chick skater...but i just started skateboarding so i dont do any grind stuff or anything like that yet...

I want to start, i have a board but i just want to ride it down to the beach and stuff, but i cant seem to go anywhere without falling i dont know the first thing about how to stand or anything. please help!
