Ollie`s are confusing

I`m a new skater, and I`ll try to make this short I am having trouble with my ollie`s and this may sound stupid but i`m not really sure what an ollie is like do u and your board jup or does your board kind of just flip over and you jump on it please help me on how to do an ollie and what it is thank you!

for an ollie u have to push ur back foot on the tail really fast and strong then quickly pop it up while dragging ur front foot up and level out as u reach the ground. go to skateboarding.com/skate and see the ollie video trick tip
