Hey i have been skating for 1 month and i was wondering.....I have been learning an ollie while im on the ground not moving, is this a good idea should i try it moving.
And also when i try it moving i push the board but it stops b4 i can do an ollie :/ what the hell is up?

I know your problem, I can't get the board in the air ..lol when I'm not standing on it and try to pop it, it flies straight up, but when I'm standing on it,... no way

Well you probably just need to push harder or give more pushes to give you time to set up for the ollie.

it's all about timing, you hafta time it perfectly from when you tap it on the ground to when you pull up to have the deck pop upit just takes time and eventualy you get used to the timing of the pop. and the harder you snap it down the faster you hafto react to pull yer legs up to get the board to go up, it seems hard now but after you get it all down you'll wonder why the f**k if took so long to learn. jus keep at it

i can do an ollie perfect when im not moving but i cant even come close while i am.
