hey it really depends when getting a board you can stand on a board in a skate shop and see how it feels and if you have big feet you might want to get a better baord and if oyur going to try and learn kickflips and other flip tricks i would suggest a thinner board like a 7.25. see but i ride and 8 as you keep skating youll figure out what you like and youll most likely stick to it

The board i got first was a birhouse. i remember how light and freakin awesome it was. i would go to skateparks and kids would want to ride it. but im pretty sure the make is different now so...... blank is a good start out board or mini logo.

Yeah dude, for starting out a 7.75 mini-logo is a pretty good deck for the money.

the almost board is the best because i can kickflip a 16 stair because it is lightweight, and i can almost ollie over a bench. but i fell just about every time i try it.
