the annual ask how to skate thread

welcome to the thread were you ask how to skate just post asking how to do something and someone else will... well... tell you ok i will start.
i am a newb at skating and i need a step by step very good very thourough tutorial on sharp turning and ollying... maybe a trick or 2

to turn sharper than you do by just tilting your toes or heels toward the side you want to turn toward, put a little more pressure on the tail so that the front wheels are just ever-so-slightly lifted and turn regularly while doing a tic-tac type thing toward where you want to go.
