I don't think nothing is wrong with pushing mongo, by the way it is harder to push mongo then regular, so if you can push mongo ya gotta be pretty talented. I think it's just about the way you learn to push then stick with it.

the only problem with pushing mongo is that it makes it harder to perform tricks if you are a beginner. If you are already a good skater and can do tricks pushing mongo then it is fine.
Mongo just takes longer to get experienced with.

It also sucks if you need to do tricks down something with a small run up.

Yeah if I would've had a choice I would've learned to push regular instead of mongo because pushing regular gives you way more time to set up to do a trick. But if you can learn to push both ways because you never know when you may need to push with the other leg. Maybe if you hurt yourself and one leg is to hurt to push with.

My mate skates mongo, he is a lot worse than us. He takes to long to set up and by the time his back foot is finally in place he's missed his target.

I don't know but yeah that is true about how you miss your target easily and you loose balance real easily because when you get through pushing you already have that extra motion of bringing your front foot back to the front of the board and it causes it to rock a little bit.
