Rock to Fakie

Approach the ramp in a normal riding position, one foot just behind the front truck, one on the tail. If you are bigger, you'll might want your front foot on top of the front truck.

Ride up the ramp with enough speed to push the nose over the top. As you gets to the top, lift the front wheels over the coping.

Put them down on the top of the ramp. Keep your centre of gravity directly over the board. When you are ready to go back down lift up the front of the board. You will start rolling backwards and when you notice that the board is past the coping put it back down.

While you are rolling backwards keep your centre of gravity and roll. When you land. Smile. You landed a good starting lip trick.

when your coming back down do u lean forword or backword?

1)Try to flow with the transition of the ramp. Don't lean too far forewards or backwards, just try to stay even with the way the ramp goes.

2)No, you do not need to know how to Ollie to do a Rock Fakie.

is there a difference between a rock to fakie and a rock-n-roll? cuz if you do a normal rock-n-roll, its the same thing, and you land fakie.

also, how do you do a 180^o rock-n-roll?

my brother has landed it a few tmes out of luck;i dont think hes doing it right.

1)Yes, there is a difference. A Rock to Fakie is where you come in normal and stall with the center of your board on the coping. A Rock N Roll is a Rock Fakie with a Revert (180 turn while on the transition) out of it.

2)I'm not sure if you are talking about a Disaster (180 to a Rock) or a Rock N Roll (Rock Fakie, Revert out).

just ride up the ramp at an angle and get ur trucks on the coping and slide along.. then jus roll back down..

the quarter pipe u r doing it on has to be kinda long..

there is also sumthin called an axle stall where u do the same thing as a 50-50 but u dont slide along the coping... i think thts wat an axle stall is..
